The Corporate Taxation Course in the United States has been specially designed for Latino professionals, entrepreneurs, accounting assistants, and individuals interested in mastering the U.S. business and tax environment.

This comprehensive program provides practical tools and up-to-date knowledge on how to establish and manage a business and prepare corporate tax returns.

OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE

To train participants in the formation, administration, and tax obligations of business entities in the corporate sector. The program aims to help students develop practical skills in the use of tax-related tools.

Duration and Methodology

The program consists of twenty-four (24) hours of lectures and practical exercises.

This program is offered in online and/or on-campus formats, using an interactive and self-paced learning approach.

Certificates of completion will be issued to students who successfully complete the course, either on campus or online, within the scheduled course period. Assistance from the instructor after this time frame is not guaranteed.

Module 2: NAICS Code (North American Industry Classification System)
Module 3: Form SS-4

Obtaining an Employer Identification Number (EIN)

Module 4: Form 1120

C Corporation: Tax characteristics, double taxation, and practical exercises

Module 5: Form 1120S

S Corporation: Eligibility requirements and Schedule K-1 distributions

Module 6: Form 1065

Partnerships: Preparing Schedule K-1, distributed income vs. guaranteed payments

Module 7: Schedule C

Sole Proprietorship: Common tax deductions

Module 8: Exercises for each tax form

Hands-on exercises for each tax form using real-world scenarios and professional tax software.
